School Resource Officer (SRO)

SROs work to safeguard the safety of every school member by planning and implementing drills and educating in school safety, security, and violence. They are the first line of crime prevention at school, helping to dissuade actions such as bullying, graffiti and vandalism, harassment, robbery, or the use of weapons. An SRO aims to create a bond between law enforcement, the school and the community, offering mentoring, advice and counseling.
